Men's Association Closer

We would like to thank everyone who participated in Remuda's men's association this season. This past week was a scrub due to inclement weather.

We had our closing thank-you social today at the clubhouse and driving range. Members were able to offer feedback and talk about next year. If you were not able to make it but would still like to offer suggestions for next year, please drop us an email. Some questions we are considering for next season: Would you like more or less low gross/ low net competitions, more or less 2-man scrambles, more or less variations in weekly games, more or less pot $ per week, change in the club championship, handicaps, lessons, etc.

Thanks again for your participation, we couldn't do it without you. Hope you had fun and we will see you at next year's March 20th opener.

Winter specials ongoing.

Through the end of the year (or until we are blanketed with snow) our winter specials for 9 holes with a cart are $15 (a savings of $5)  and 18 holes with a cart per person is $24 (a savings of $16).

Aeration update

The back nine holes have been completely aerated now. This Monday through Thursday we are aerating the front nine. So by Friday the course will be completely done and ready for 18 hole play once again.

Aeration next Monday

This weekend is supposed to be pretty decent in the weather department. Get out and enjoy the course before Monday when we start aerating the greens and fairways. Nine Holes will be closed the first few days of next week for this maintenance. If you can't make it before Monday, keep in mind our winter special rates begin Monday, so you can still get out and enjoy some golf at a discount.

Winter Specials Begin Monday October 19

Special winter rates this year will start October 19 and will last until December 23 or whenever the weather (snow) halts play on the course. Here are the special rates.

$15 for nine holes with cart anyday. 
$24 for eighteen holes with cart anyday.

Aeration of the course also begins on October 19. We will be closing each side for a couple of weekdays to get started. Check the front desk for exact dates of course work.

ASSOCIATION MEMBERS ONLY

36 hole Remuda Club Championship tournament.

Play the front and back nine, together or separately Monday-Thursday, Turn in scorecards.

Regular green fees or punch card.

Regular $5 fee paid one time only, (before the first nine or eighteen holes during the week.)

Pairings will assigned Friday for Saturday morning 18 hole starts between 8am and 10 am. You will be in foursomes with players of similar abilities. Foursomes can schedule other tee times during the day if they are available.

Black championship tees will be used.

Top low gross winner will be the club champion. $100 credit will be awarded to the champion, plus the winners name will be engraved on the plaque in the clubhouse and the individual will be eligible to play in the UGA club champions tournament next weekend at Wolf Creek.

Second and third place overall low gross will also win small prizes and the flighted low gross and low net winners will receive the regular association winnings for the week, based on 36 holes.

Participants will each receive a free sleeve of golf balls along with our appreciation for participating in the men's association this year.
